Flicker Magazine Issue 3
Description
Flicker Magazine Issue 3 is a 116 page print edition exploring film, theatre, art, and queer life.
We call this the “Hot Winter” Issue.
Because nothing here feels cold.
This issue brings interviews with people who carry heat into the room. On stage. On screen. In conversation. Our cover story features Choriza May, alongside long reads with Alex Roque, Stephen Tracey, Dusty Limits, Kim Rub, Vadim Romanov, and filmmaker Marcelo Caetano. These are artists working with desire, control, humour, vulnerability, and risk.
Inside, you will find red carpet and visual coverage, alongside a closer look at Avatar Fire and Ash. The issue also includes film essays on Baby and Koupepia, and theatre writing that moves through London and beyond, staying close to performance, intimacy, and presence rather than spectacle.
This issue opens space for drag as theatre, fetish in film, queer bodies on stage, and the lived reality of LGBTQIA+ homelessness in the UK. The focus stays human. The temperature stays high.
Printed in full colour on premium paper, Issue 3 keeps Flicker’s attention on independent voices and queer storytelling. Winter outside. Heat on the page.
